Apple Park Announced, Open to Visitors

Apple Park Announced, Open to Visitors

February 22, 2017

Apple has just announced it's set to open to visitors and staff in April 2017. The shifting process will take over six months and will involve 12,000 staff moving into it's new premises, previously known as the Spaceship.

The Apple Park is several months behind schedule and construction will be taking place well into July and August.

The new Apple Park is set to feature:

  • Visitor centre with cafe (nice touch Apple)
  • 100,000 sq ft fitness centre
  • research & development facilities
  • 2 miles of walking and running tracks (no hiking trails?)

Apple has also named the new 1.000 auditorium as the Steve Jobs theatre. The theatre will open later in the year and will overlook the rest of the campus.
